Dear Plumbago Readers and Contributors,
A few months ago, we put out a call for contributions to our upcoming creative nonfiction issue of Plumbago! We've had some amazing responses. From old IBM analog tech to writing in the margins of one's book, this is shaping up to be a great issue.
It's with that in mind that we want to make it even better and represent a diverse swath of humanity! We're especially looking for stories from women, people of color, and those not typically represented in alternative publications like zines.
We'd also like to see more visual submissions, like comics, illustrations, paintings, photos — heck, even poetry would be amazing. Many of us are longform writers, and that's okay. Prose is the meat and potatoes of Plumbago. But visual stories are the cranberry sauce and the flaming molten chocolate cake of our metaphorical meal.
And remember; the deadline to submit is June 1!
